About the exhibition
Sculpture@Miranda was conceived as a place where works of art could be positioned with plenty of space around them, and in some instances with the sea as a backdrop.
Additionally it provides those interested in art a day in the country and a chance to walk around organic orchards and gardens.
All the works can be viewed in about 20 minutes, but visitors can stay as long as they like.
There is ample lawn for a picnic, and a public toilet – itself a functional sculpture – is available.
This year we have an eclectic mix of works from all over New Zealand, with materials including ceramic, brick, marble, granite, and bronze represented. Prices vary from $400 to $40,000 – so there is something for everyone.
The current exhibition runs until Jan 31st, but visits can be made after that by prior arrangement. Please call us and we can arrange to show you through.
